Responsibilities:
Review complex tax returns, including multi-state returns for Individuals, Estates and Trusts, Partnerships, S Corporations, and other business entities
Technical research
Respond to inquiries from the IRS, state, and other tax authorities
Analyze the scope of each engagement to manage schedules, budgets, and deadlines
Monitor compliance with due dates and within time budgets
Supervision, assign duties and training staff
Mentor and coach staff members in their development
Supervise numerous engagements simultaneously
Direct interaction with Partners and Clients
Ability to play a key role in business development by generating leads, expanding client services and networking in the community
Assist with client billings
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
CPA license.
6 years of prior tax experience, including public accounting.
Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to work a flexible schedule which includes 55+ hours a week during tax season.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficient in System FX or CCH Axcess
Master’s in taxation.
Real estate taxation industry experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Pro System FX or CCH Axcess
Salary Range: $95,000 – $140,000*
