A fast-growing real estate investment firm is looking to hire a Staff Accountant to support their expanding operations. The ideal Staff Accountant should possess strong attention to detail and organizational skills while being capable of multitasking. Responsibilities:

  • Support financial operations, including treasury management, financial reporting, lender reporting, lender draws, and tax filings.
  • Monitor cash balances and forecasts to maintain adequate liquidity.
  • Collaborate with asset management and property management teams to facilitate funding requests.
  • Manage various treasury functions, such as opening new bank accounts, coordinating book and wire transfers, overseeing corporate bank accounts, and tracking due-to-from transactions.
  • Work closely with accountants in asset management and property management to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting at the property level.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 1 year of full cycle accounting experience.
  • Proficient in MS Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Real estate accounting experience.
  • Proficient in Yardi.
  • Understanding of financial statements and general ledger accounting.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Salary Range: $60,000 – $80,000*
