The Asset Manager oversees the operations and financial performance of a portfolio of assigned properties. This role involves strategic asset planning, financial analysis, property management oversight, and collaboration with development and finance teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor third-party property management firms and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Identify and manage capital improvement projects, including energy retrofits.
  • Oversee LIHTC compliance, financial reporting, and investor exits.
  • Lead portfolio repositioning, including refinancing and acquisitions.
  • Analyze financial statements and budgets to optimize asset performance.
  • Conduct due diligence on new acquisitions and oversee construction management.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and support mission-driven housing initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 8 years of experience in real estate asset management, property management, or development within affordable housing. 
  • Strong knowledge of LIHTC and multifamily housing.
  • Proficient in MS Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree.
  • Experience in financial analysis, audit reviews, and compliance.

Salary Range: $110,000 – $145,000*
