The Asset Manager oversees the operations and financial performance of a portfolio of assigned properties. This role involves strategic asset planning, financial analysis, property management oversight, and collaboration with development and finance teams.
Responsibilities:
Monitor third-party property management firms and ensure operational efficiency.
Identify and manage capital improvement projects, including energy retrofits.
Oversee LIHTC compliance, financial reporting, and investor exits.
Lead portfolio repositioning, including refinancing and acquisitions.
Analyze financial statements and budgets to optimize asset performance.
Conduct due diligence on new acquisitions and oversee construction management.
Ensure regulatory compliance and support mission-driven housing initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
8 years of experience in real estate asset management, property management, or development within affordable housing.
Strong knowledge of LIHTC and multifamily housing.
Proficient in MS Excel.
Preferred Qualifications:
Graduate degree.
Experience in financial analysis, audit reviews, and compliance.
Salary Range: $110,000 – $145,000*
