We’re seeking a Project Manager to join our established San Diego client. In this role, you will oversee multiple housing projects from acquisition through lease-up and stabilization. This role will lead projects through every stage — from concept design and financing to construction completion and occupancy, ensuring quality, compliance, and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple development projects from acquisition through lease-up and 8609 issuance, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Partner with the Acquisition team to identify and evaluate sites, conduct research, guide concept design, and perform underwriting.
- Select and oversee development consultants, direct project design through construction permitting, and secure all required entitlements.
- Prepare and submit public funding applications (TCAC, CDLAC, CalHFA, HUD, and local agencies); work with the CFO to select lender and equity partners, and manage loan closings.
- Support the SVP of Construction during the build phase and coordinate with asset management, supportive housing, and property management teams during lease-up and stabilization.
- Create and maintain project proformas, schedules, and task lists; manage budgets, reconciliations, and cash flow.
- Perform additional duties that contribute to the company’s success and report directly to the Director of Development.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree; 10 years of combined experience and education may substitute Bachelor’s degree.
- 5 years of prior project manager experience within affordable housing development and financing.
- Experience with proformas and affordable housing funding applications.
- Proficiency in MS Suite (Excel, Project, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree.
- Organized, self-starter with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Salary Range: $110,000 – $160,000*
