A prominent general contractor is in search of a Project Coordinator to become a part of their Accounting department. This organization has impressive longevity amongst their staff, prides themselves on being an inclusive work environment and offers a competitive total compensation package. This position is located at the corporate headquarters, based in Orange County, and requires full-time onsite presence Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage compliance and record-keeping for preliminary notices and lien releases.
  • Aid in the collection and tracking of certified payroll.
  • Assist in gathering and monitoring insurance, OCIP/CCIP, and AIA percent complete billings.
  • Attend project meetings and ensure timely follow-up on outstanding tasks.
  • Fulfill other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1 year of project coordinator or project accountant experience within the Commercial Construction Industry 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel & Outlook) 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior accounting and document control experience within the Commercial Construction Industry 
  • Timberline/Sage, Textura, and Procore software usage is a plus
  • Experience working for a General Contractor preferred 
  • An understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices.
  • Must be extremely organized, accurate, possess high level of attention to detail and be able to perform successfully under pressure and in a timely manner.

Salary Range: $65,000 – $80,000*
