Our client is a renowned PR firm specializing in media relations for government and regulatory sectors. With a dedicated team and a commitment to excellence, they provide strategic communication solutions for their clients. As they continue to grow, they are seeking a dynamic individual to join the firm as an Accounting & HR Manager.
The Accounting & HR Manager will play a pivotal role in managing accounting operations and providing light HR support. This individual will work closely with the current incumbent and help contribute to the firm’s continued success. Responsibilities:
Manage Accounts Receivable (A/R) and Accounts Payable (A/P) processes.
Prepare monthly financial statements and reports.
Assist in annual budget preparation and financial forecasting.
Coordinate with external CPA for financial audits and tax filings.
Provide backup HR support, handling inquiries related to benefits, payroll, and onboarding.
Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.
Assist in streamlining manual processes and implementing automation solutions.
Utilize software systems including Quicken, Microsoft Suite, Spring Ahead (time/attendance billing software), and ADP.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree.
5 years’ experience in accounting operations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency in Quicken and ADP.
Proven experience in a small to mid-sized business environment.
CPA certification is a plus, but not required.
Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to work autonomously.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
Salary Range: $75,000 – $100,000*
