Responsibilities:
Supervise and mentor Account Management Associates and Specialists
Oversee portfolio collection activities, ensuring follow-ups and escalations are completed
Personally manage high-value or complex agreements
Handle escalated customer calls and negotiate payment plans
Support training, development, and performance oversight of team members
Collaborate with leadership to improve collection tactics, reporting, and risk mitigation
Minimum Qualifications:
10 years of prior experience in account management or collections
Prior supervisory experience managing account management or collections staff
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Aspire software
High School diploma
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong organizational, multitasking, and follow-up skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Proven ability to lead teams and manage escalated accounts
Experience negotiating complex payment plans and restructures
Strong conflict resolution and de-escalation skills
Knowledge of compliance and best practices in collections
Success in mentoring and developing team performance
