Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and mentor Account Management Associates and Specialists
  • Oversee portfolio collection activities, ensuring follow-ups and escalations are completed
  • Personally manage high-value or complex agreements
  • Handle escalated customer calls and negotiate payment plans
  • Support training, development, and performance oversight of team members
  • Collaborate with leadership to improve collection tactics, reporting, and risk mitigation

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 10 years of prior experience in account management or collections
  • Prior supervisory experience managing account management or collections staff
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Aspire software
  • High School diploma

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and follow-up skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage escalated accounts
  • Experience negotiating complex payment plans and restructures
  • Strong conflict resolution and de-escalation skills
  • Knowledge of compliance and best practices in collections
  • Success in mentoring and developing team performance
