Our client is actively in search of an Asset Manager to join their growing team in San Diego, CA. This role involves managing an assigned portfolio of entities, including analyzing each assets performance, creating plans to improve performance and managing relationships with property management agents. Responsibilities:
Overseeing a diverse portfolio of assets, including financial reporting and ensuring full compliance with operational standards
Creating and evaluating monthly financials and accompanying narratives for the managed assets
Cultivating and managing relationships with property management partners
Nurturing connections with clients, partners, and various stakeholders
Crafting and delivering monthly summary reports to the executive team
Periodically visiting properties within assigned portfolio and conducting site visits
Collaborating with external agencies and internal departments to facilitate the flow of Asset Management information
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
5 years of prior experience in residential real estate asset management
Proficient in MS Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or real estate
3 years experience within the affordable housing industry
Working knowledge of Fair Housing mandates and eviction laws
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Thorough understanding of real estate development, leasing, and asset management principles and practice
Experience in managing projects and delivering comprehensive financial reports
Salary Range: $115,000 – $125,000*
