We’re seeking a skilled Asset Manager to join our client’s mission-driven team in San Diego. This role focuses on maximizing rental property value, ensuring strong financial performance, and supporting resident success. The position offers a competitive salary, strong benefits, and a hybrid work schedule (two remote days per week).
 
Responsibilities:

  • Conduct quarterly check-ins and annual site visits with regional managers.
  • Address capital needs, monitor security measures, and oversee FF&E maintenance.
  • Maintain and upload property ownership records and compliance reports.
  • File and manage insurance claims and maintain required certificates.
  • Review monthly financials, operating budgets, and annual audits.
  • Monitor rents, utility allowances, and financial compliance with regulations.
  • Ensure reserve reconciliation and oversee financial distributions.
  • Maintain real estate portfolios and property tax exemptions.
  • Provide market data for development and financing initiatives.

 
Minimum Qualifications

  • Three years of experience in asset management, or property management within the affordable housing sector.
  • Bachelors Degree.

 
Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of welfare tax exemptions and housing compliance regulations.

 

Salary Range: $95,000 – $125,000* 

*The above represents the lowest to highest expected salary range for this job opening.
