Our client is seeking a Senior Analyst to support its Asset Management Team. This role is responsible for conducting and documenting investment analysis for both commercial and multifamily projects. It offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in investment management within an entrepreneurial environment, with frequent exposure to the company’s senior leadership.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of presentations for senior management and investor reporting
Analyze the financial impact of lease transactions and capital projects on property value (including discounted cash flow analysis and cash-on-cash returns)
Maintain and evaluate weekly lease comp and traffic reports
Support the preparation of annual operating budgets, capital budgets, and business plans
Monitor LIHTC compliance and essential housing regulatory reporting
Maintain operational financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
Conduct due diligence and financial analysis for refinances and dispositions
Prepare cash flow projections and capital distribution waterfalls
Maintain and update fund cash flow and reforecasting models
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, accounting, real estate, or a related field
2-4 years of prior commercial real estate analyst experience
Experience with complex financial modeling, including CAM reconciliations
Experience with both commercial office and multifamily assets
Proficient in Argus and MS Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree
Strong communication, presentation, and writing abilities
Solid understanding of both the financial and operational drivers of property performance
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated with strong integrity
Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
Salary Range: $95,000 – $115,000*
