We are actively on the lookout for Accounts Payable professionals for our Los Angeles based clients’ accounting departments. In these roles, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the accounts payable ledger, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies. Additionally, these roles will involve handling invoices, processing payments, and collaborating with other departments to resolve discrepancies. These are direct hire opportunities, offering hybrid and in-office work arrangements.
Responsibilities
Review and verify invoices for accuracy and proper authorization.
Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents.
Enter invoices into the accounting system in a timely and accurate manner.
Process weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly payment runs, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers.
Reconcile vendor statements and address discrepancies promptly.
Maintain and update vendor records, including W-9s and other tax forms.
Assist with month-end closing tasks, including AP aging reports and account reconciliations.
Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment-related issues.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
For background check purposes, material duties of this position include reviewing and verifying invoices, matching invoices, processing payment runs, reconciling vendor statements, maintaining and updating vendor records, assisting with month-end close, responding to vendor inquiries and ensuring compliance.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
2 years’ prior accounts payable experience
Proficient in MS Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Prior accounts payable experience within the real estate, construction, business management, or related industries
Proficient in accounting ERP systems (e.g., Yardi, MRI, Sage 300, Sage 100)
Salary Range: $55,000 – $65,000*
