Our client is seeking an Investor Relations Associate to join their Investor Relations (IR) department. As an Investor Relations Associate, you will be a trusted resource to the firm’s clients and support the IR team with administrative as well as operational tasks. This is an direct hire opportunity that is located onsite in in Orange County, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary contact for investor and advisor inquiries, providing timely and accurate information regarding investments, reports, and statements.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing private and institutional investors, as well as back-office personnel, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and engagement.
- Assist in reviewing and organizing subscription documents and investor forms to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Oversee the Client Relationship Management (CRM) system and Investor Portal, including client onboarding processes and ongoing account management to ensure seamless user experiences.
- Collaborate with accounting and investment teams to prepare and distribute financial documents such as capital account statements, capital calls, distribution notices, tax documents, quarterly reports, and annual disclosures.
- Assist in the preparation and execution of marketing materials, including PowerPoint presentations, ensuring content aligns with the company’s vision and objectives.
- Complete Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs) for existing investors and maintain up-to-date marketing materials to support investor relations activities.
- Work with internal and external compliance teams to ensure all investor communications adhere to regulatory standards and company policies.
- Assist in planning and managing investor-related events, including initial outreach, follow-up communications, and schedule coordination to ensure successful event execution.
- Undertake other duties and projects as required to support the Investor Relations team and contribute to the company’s success.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 2 years’ experience at an investment management, asset management, wealth management, investment consulting, or financial services firm.
- Commercial real estate background.
- Holds current Series 7 and 63 licenses or is willing to obtain within 120 days of start date.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Juniper Square.
- Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage concurrent projects.
- Must be adaptable, committed, and team-oriented, with flexibility to work longer hours when necessary.
